Warming up

1. Greeting. Ask about their weekends with simple past.

2. Pre-teach the words in A1. clue, castle, librarian, statue.

1. Free talk. Talk about their weekends. Students will review simple past questions and answers.

Presentation

1. Show students the picture in which a journalist is interviewing Lucy. Explain the word interview to students.

2. Play the audio for students to check their answers. Then go through the whole text with the class.

3. Ask students to find simple past questions in the text and underline them.
