一、教学内容分析

本节课是仁爱英语七年级下册Unit6 Our Local Area.Topic 2 My home is in an apartment building.Section A，主要学习由There be句型描述房间物品的种类和数量，学习住房的类型以及学习重点句型“What kind of home do you live in?”，通过学习，也复习单数变复数等知识。

二、教学目标

核心词块      a townhouse ,  a farmhouse , an apartment ,country ,  kind of ,  live  in ,  live with .

目标句型  （1）—What kind of home do you live in?

                —It’s a townhouse with two floors.

（2）—How many floors are there in your building?

—There are seven.

（3）—Do you like living there?

—Yes.

（4）Michael is looking for an apartment near our school.

其他生词   quiet, month , rent.

能力目标

1.能听懂简单的课堂用语并做出适当的反应；

三、学习者特征分析

本节课主要是承接着上一个话题的内容展开，在原有的There be句型的基础上，进一步学习住房的类型以及学习重点句型“What kind of home do you live in?”所以要以对室内物品名称和There be句型的复习引入新课，使学生能自然过渡到新课程的学习。

四、教学策略选择和设计

本节课为英语听说课，听说课主要分读前-读中-读后几个步骤。在教学过程中，先复习和学习本节课的生字词，要求学生四会。然后设置听力任务，让每位同学都理解任务的内容。听中活动时，关上课本听1a，然后回答问题。再次播放录音，检查核对答案。听后能熟读，并能复述课文后模仿改编对话，达到说的目标。

五、教学重点、难点

重点：房屋类型的词汇：townhouse，farmhouse，apartment.重点句型：“What kind of home do you live in?”

难点：能够用“What kind of home do you live in?”句型提问并回答。
