一、教学内容分析

本节课是第七单元话题一的第二课时，主要活动是1a和2a。在复习基数词以及前面所学内容的之后。通过Jack和Kangkang谈论生日聚会的对话，展开本课的教学内容。主要学习谈论生日和日期的表达方式。

二、教学目标

1. Knowledge aims

正确朗读下列词汇并运用于情景对话中：

birthday,   date, calendar, plan, celebrate, party

 能够用英语谈论生日和日期的表达法，如：

(1) —When is your birthday?

—May 13th.

(2) —What’s the date today?

—It’s May 8th.

2. Skill aim

能够听懂有关询问生日、谈论日期的表达方式，并做出正确地  回答；

 能够应用询问生日的表达方式进行简单的交流；

     能够应用本课重点句型编写谈论生日、日期的对话。

三、学习者特征分析

本班同学可塑性强，但大部分同学英语基础薄弱，加上自觉性、主动性差，上课容易走神，因而需要激发他们的兴趣，加强对其的学法引导和学习习惯的培养，让其积极参与到课堂活动中，大胆开口说和练。因此在课程中要抓住有效的切入点，激发学生的兴趣和求知欲，从而更有效的展开教学。

四、教学策略选择和设计

教学策略及设计：

利用听说训练法；情景交际法等引导学生在听前、听中、听后环节完成相应任务

1、Pre-listening

（1）复习词块或句型与话题内容相关联，遵循整体性原则；

（2）情景导入能激活学生已有知识，激发学生的兴趣；

（3）新词教学有注重情景创设，并能巧妙贯穿语音教学和词块教学。

2、While-listening

 (1)听中任务设计基于语篇，有目的性、针对性，并紧扣主题；

（2）问题设计的形式多样化，有效的引导学生并加深对文章的理解任务；

（3）听力教学中能有效渗透听力策略和听力技巧。

3、Post-listening

（1）培养学生对文本语言点的关注和训练；

（2）注重培养学生的语音语调训练；朗读训练有检测反馈；

（3）注重以说促写的微写作的课堂训练。

2.Revise the key sentences of the date   of birth

3.Have a conclusion :

the day you   were born is your birthday,then ask   students when is your birthday?

Step 2 Presentation

Show a   calendar and ask questions ,learn the new word calendar;

Show a   calendar in May and learn some new expressions. “what’s the date   today?”(what’s the date tomorrow?)

Let students   look at some pictures  and learn the new words“celebrate , party,plan   to”.
