教学目标:

根据学生已有的知识基础,本节课的地位及作用和新课标精神,特制定以下教学目标:

1)知识目标

使学生掌握并熟练运用下列单词和短语: music, musician, play the violin\  piano\ drums\  句型:Can you sing? Can you dance? What can you do?

2)技能目标

培养学生能够运用所学目标语言,表达自己在某一方面所具备的才能

3)     情感态度价值观 

4)     Section B的学习内容贴近学生的生活,谈论的话题是能力。通过互相询问或谈论自己或对方在某一方面的能力,

可以培养学生的一种群体意识. .

教学重、难点及教学突破:

    1)重点:学会运用情态动词can来询问他人和谈论自己的能力。

    2)语法难点:情态动词can的构成和使用。

4)     Section B重在通过复习所学的“询问和谈论能力”的目标语言,学会谈论和表达自己或他人在某一方面所具备的能力和才艺,因此给学生提供一些施展才艺的舞台和机会,让他们在做中说、在说中做,既能培养他们的自信又能使其学会灵活运用所学知识。

教学过程:

Step1    Greeting and revision

T:Good afternoon girls and boys,I am your new teacher.Nice to meet you.

T: Do you like me?

Ss: .

T:As a new teacher I want to know something about you. I like music .Do you like music? I can sing. Can you sing? Let us listen to a song: Can you sing ?

T:Can you sing ?We all like music. Can you play the guitar? Today we will learn Unit 1 Can you play the guitar? Section B 1a-1f (Write on the blackboard.) First, let us play a guessing game. Can he.? Can she..?

Step2    Lead in and new words

T: There is a music club in our school. Look, there are a lot of instruments.(Show a picture of drums)Look, what are these? They are drums. Read after me, drum, drums ,play the drums. (In this way, teach new words drum, piano, violin)

Step3  Presentation

1a Ask the students to draw lines to match the words with the pictures on Page 4 of the book The music instruments are guitar , drums , violin and piano.

Ask the students to read after the teacher when they are looking at the pictures on PowerPoint

Step 4  Practice look and say

1c Ask and answer questions about the instruments. 

The teacher goes round the class and gives help if necessary.

Step5 Pre-listening and listening

 本节课学生能积极主动回答和讨论问题,以学生为主体,教师为主导,基本符合新课改的要求。特别是学生评价环节,效果很好。美中不足的是过渡时不够自然。
