一般现在时
一．定义
一般现在时是描述现在经常性的、习惯性的动作或存在的状态的时态
I often go to school at 7 o’clock.
I am a student.
二．结构
一般现在时由动词原形或动词的第三人称单数形式表示
I watch TV at home.
He watches TV at home.

1. be动词的一般现在时 is
are
I－am
We－are
You（你）－are
You（你们）－are
He－is
She－is
It－is
They－are
Mary is a student.
He is at school.
I am a teacher.
2. 单数第三人称变化规则（have的第三人称单数形式是has）

四．应用
1. be动词的一般现在时
肯定句式：主语 + am / is / are + ...
否定句式：主语 + am / is / are + not + ...
一般疑问句式：Am / Is / Are + 主语 + ... ？
－肯定回答：Yes, 主语 + am / is / are
－否定回答：No, 主语 + am / is / are + not
（要注意在回答的句子中，主语必须是代词）
特殊疑问句式：疑问词 + am / is / are + 主语 + ... ？
（特殊疑问词： what, who, which, where, when, why）
Eg：John is a student.
John isn’t a student.
－Is John a student？
－Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.
What is John？
2. 实义动词的一般现在时
肯定句式：主语 + 实义动词原形 / 第三人称单数+ ...
否定句式：主语 + don’t / doesn’t + 实义动词原形+ ...
一般疑问句式：Do/Does + 主语 + 实义动词原形+ ... ？
－肯定回答：Yes, 主语+ do/does.
－否定回答：No, 主语 + do not./does not.
特殊疑问句式：疑问词 + 一般疑问句式？
Eg：I work. / She works.
I don’t work. / She doesn’t work.
一Does she work？
一Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.
Where does she work？
应用原则1：表示经常、习惯性发生的动作或存在的状态，可以与often, usually, always, never, every day, once a week, sometimes, seldom, on/at weekends等表示时间的状语连用
Helen always smiles at us.
She usually goes to school early.
应用原则2：表示普遍真理、客观存在及自然现象
The earth is round.
The moon moves around the earth.
应用原则3：表示已经预先计划或安排的肯定将要发生的动作，主要用于含有come, go, take place, start, begin, leave, return, stop, arrive at等非延续性动词的句子中，且句中常有表示将来时间的状语
The final exam takes place next week.
The train leaves London at six and arrives in Birmingham at eight.
应用原则4：在某些以here, there开头的句子中，用动词go, come的一般现在时表示正在发生的动作
Here comes the bus!
There goes the bell for class.
