This lesson   belongs to Go for it English Book. Lesson One contains some new words,   listening materials and a dialogue. It is good for the students to improve   their listening and speaking skills.

The   students in Grade Seven have already learnt basic vocabulary, improving their   ability of oral English is very important to them.

Warm-up

 

 

T: Ask one of the   students to sing an English song before class

 S:listen to the song and guess the name of   the song.

To make an exciting atmosphere

The greetings

T: Good   morning,boys and girls!

S:Good morning,   teacher!

To respect each   other.

Step3

Reading the new words

The students   should read the words after the teacher using body languages.

 

To know and   pronounce all the new words.

To pay more   attention to the words stress.

Step4

Memorizing the new words

T: Let the   students memorize the new words in different ways.

To help the   students to memorize the vocabulary.

To make it   interesting to memorize the new words.

Step5

Word guessing game

Let two students   guess the words on the screen which their classmates explain in English to   both of them.

In this way all   the students can learn how to explain new words.

Step6

Making sentences

Let the students make some sentences using the new words.

The students   practice the conversation in 1a with their partener. Then they make their own   conversations using the words in the box such as on in under

B: It is in a box.

The third one:

A: Where is the   desk?

B: It is in the   classroom.
