学生对Internet比较感兴趣，但对其发展史不是很清楚，对其影响理解不够全面

分析

本节课使用的教学内容来自上海新世纪版教材的Unit 8 的reading，文章时间线索比较清楚，按照 事件背景，问题，问题解决，以及相应的影响展开,重点词汇较多，课文句式相对容易理解。对学生的要求是阅读，并学习相关词汇，进而希望学生能够使用所学词汇进行讨论。

设计思路

The  growth of the internet本篇课文主要按照时间事件组织，故而课程设计中采用时间轴等组织信息，帮助学生梳理并清晰化文章脉络
