Review some verb phrases.

Task 2: Free talk
1.T: This weekend is coming, what is your plan? What are you doing this weekend?I’m looking after my daughter. ( Write these two sentences on the blackboard.)What about you?
Ss: I’m meeting my friends/ playing baketball / exercising ... ...( Write down)
Ss read the sentences and V-ing phrases.
2. T: Oh , our plans are the same. Let’s go to see others’ vacation plans. Books open. Turn to Page 13. ( Write the topic of Unit 3 on the blackboard.)
Ss think over and write down some activities on their books.(Finish 1a)
3. Check the ideas: ( One student write out the five activities in the pictures, three students write other ideas on the blackboard.)

1. Listen to the tape twice, then answer :

2. Ask three students to write the answers to What and other three write about When on the blackboard. Then check them together.
3. Listen again and answer another question:

4.Pair work: Make a conversation in pairs according to 2a like 1c.
