我今天要分析的课例是人教版七年级下册第四单元 Don’t eat in class,第一课时(下附本堂课教案)。这堂课的大概流程是由一段小视频引入主题,视频中的孩子们在课堂上捣乱,从而进入今天的主题。进入主题之后,呈现本堂课的单词和句型,接着根据孩子们平时在校表现的图片进行进一步的操练,其中有一个“lucky man”的小游戏,最后有一个大的活动,那就是role play。在本堂课的结尾,我加入了一个情感的升华,那就是通过图片让孩子们回想自己的小学老师,是小学老师教会了他们守规矩,从而燃烧起孩子们对小学老师的感激之情。这就是本堂课的大致流程,作为一节公开课,整堂课的课堂气氛很好,孩子们很活跃。但是在经过这么长时间的培训之后,我对这节课又有了新的体会。
首先从课堂设计上来说,这节课用了很多可以吸引孩子们眼球的元素,比如说动画小视频,孩子们生活中的图片,抢红包的游戏,以及最后的关于孩子们小学生活的图片,这是整堂课最大的优点。但是,这堂课的不足在于,由于这是整个单元的起始课,在设计课程时应该是输入大于输出的,而这堂课则侧重于输出,这是需要改进的地方。
从教学策略上来说,整堂课运用了发现学习和合作学习的策略。在整堂课的开始,由视频让孩子们去发现本堂课的主题,在后面的句型操练当中,同学们从他们的日常生活照片中发现问题的所在,从而对所学词汇、句型以及规则进行巩固,提高了孩子们的积极性与参与性,取得了很好的效果。至于合作学习体现在孩子们在课堂中的两两对话,最主要是最后一个role play的环节,孩子们要运用本课所学,编造一个对话,并在全班面前表演出来,这是合作学习运用的较好的地方。这既是这堂课的优点也是本节课不足之处所在,关于发现学习在这堂课中运用得还不是很到位,还需要进行调整。
在教学评价上,这堂课用得最多的是鼓励性和指导性评价。鼓励孩子们在课堂上不怕出错,勇于表现勇于发言,并在孩子们开口说英语的时候进行一定的指导,这一评价的效果在本堂课中运用得较为妥帖。
综合以上所述,结合以上反思,对于这节课,我对自己有了新的建议。首先,在课程的时间安排上,我会花更多的时间在单词和句型的操练上,缩短最后一个活动的时间,让孩子们有更多的输入,从而保证孩子们在下一堂课中有更好的输出。第二,充分发挥发现学习的作用,让孩子们多讨论探究,从而加深对本课知识的印象,巩固所学知识。

Design purpose: 1. Arouse their interest. 2. Lead Ss to the unit goal -- school rules
Step Ⅱ : Presentation (8mins)
1. Present new words and structures:
Teaching sample: Don’t eat in the classroom. We must eat in the dining hall. Don’t run in the hallways.
Design purpose: Introduce the target language to the Ss, and to enable the Ss to grasp enough input, which makes fully preparation for later output.
2. Listen and learn
Pre-listening → Introduce the characters, and predict
While-listening → get the main idea, and do exercise on the book
Post-listening →do role play, and retell the content
Design purpose: 1). Recognize the target language in natural speech.
2). Improve listening competence
Step Ⅲ Practice (15 mins)
Show some Ss’ photos in school like this, and Ss should use the key structures “we can’t...” to express their thoughts.
Design purpose : 1). Set the scene and test Ss' knowledge. 2).Help Ss to have self-reflection.
2. play a game “Lucky Man”
There’re 6 lucky pockets, each one with a task, some easy, some not.
Ss can choose one and see what the task is and what the prize is.
eg. In pocket 1, the task is to make 3 rules for our library. The prize is “The ticket to Disneyland”.
Design purpose: Based on Ss’ Cognitive levels and Ss’ age characteristics
Step 4 Production (15mins)
Make a short play: Ss are separated into 4 groups, and they will make a short play using the key language. They will be given 5 mins to prepare it. Then act it out.
Design Purpose : 1. Ss-oriented teaching concept.
2. Train Ss’cooperative and communicative ability.
Step 5: Summary (5 mins)
1. Conclusion
Design Purpose : Consolidate the target language.
2. Emotional education: I lead Ss to recall their primary teachers who also taught them school rules. We should thank and respect teachers.
Design purpose : Respect teachers
3. Homework
① Think about how to be a good student .
② Tell your parents our school rules in English.
③ Write some rules for our Class Six.
