Unit3  Travel Journal

Teaching Aims:

  1.Grasp the key words in this lesson

    The differences between the phrases “persuade sb to do sth” and “try to persuade sb to do sth”

   Differences among the four words travel,journey,trip,voyage

Teaching procedure:

   Step1.Greetings:Good afternoon,boys and girls!

   Step2.Warming up: To review the words that we learnt last time.(PPT)

 Step3.Presentation

1.The uses of travel,journey,trip,voyage

travel: 旅行,可指长期,短期;尤其指长途的海外旅行 

    egHe is traveling in Africa.

trip:短期,短途的旅行,尤其指暂时到外地办理业务

    eg:Mother took me downtown on a shopping trip.

voyage:乘船做海上的旅行

    eg:He made a voyage to America.

journey:多指陆上旅行,不用于指距离很短的旅行

     eg:He is away on a journey.

试比较: 1.Wish you a good journey.

         2.I will have a bussiness trip.

         3.I want to travel around the world.

         4.Davie will have a long sea voyage.

4.persuade:

  1.persuade sb to do /not to do

    eg: I persuade him to give up smoking.

  2.persuade vs. try to persuade=advice

   I persuade him to sing a song for us.(成功的说服)

   I tried to persuade/adviced him to sing a song for us ,but he  didn’t listen to me.(主观上尽力了,但是结果不一定成功)

研修反思

优点:该教案设计教学目标明确、重难点突出、内容讲解到位。

不足:教学策略比较缺乏,内容呈现方式单调,不能充分调动学生的学习兴趣及主动性;教学评价基本以学生回答的正误为标准,不利于挖掘学生更多的学习潜能
