                      Unit 22  History and Geography –Language Output

Aims: 掌握并活用本单元词、短语和句型。

1） Words often used to describe history and geography:

What’s more, with a history of more than one hundred year (有着一百多年的历史), there is a variety of wild animals in it. However, the number of the wild life reduces rapidly, especially the wolves, which are almost extinct. The most important reason is that people lacked the awareness of protecting them.(缺乏保护他们的意识), and even obsessed (捕捉) with killing them. In 1995, Dougles Smith went to Canada to capture (捕捉) fourteen of the animals in an effort to revive(恢复)  the  quantity of wolves  in Yellowstone . Therefore , we should take some measures to protect them(采取保护他们的措施) from now on. and we should do our best (尽我们所能)before it is too late（趁为时未晚）.
